To complete a work, A takes 50% more time than B. If together they takes 18 days to complete the work, then B takes how much time to do the same work ?

Let B takes x days to complete work A takes ( x + x/2)= 1.5x days to complete same work .
use formula, together they take no of days = AB/( A+ B) 
now put A = 1.5x days B =x days 
18 = 1.5x²/( 1.5x +x) = 1.5x/2.5 = 3x/5 x = 30
hence, B takes 30days to complete work.and A takes 45 days to complete same work.
