The word is an acronym formed by joining the initial letters of the full form of the disease..Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome.
It can be detected through a specific blood test.it is caused by a particular kind of deadly virus wch begins to prey on the leucocytes or the WBC of the human body , their weakening n subsequent decrease makes a person incapable of f8ing n resisting any disease.so , evn a minor ailmnt like cold will bcom the immediate cause of the death of an AIDS patient.
