NREGA is commonly aimed to provide employment to people who are in need of it.
According to this, people who r in need of employment and also are able to do work were provided with 100 days employment per year. And if the govt. is not able to provide them. job, they will grant them unemployment allowance. This was done to reduce unemployment in the country.
