Air is always exerting pressure on us. It is akin to fishes in the water. The water exerts hydro pressure on the fishes and likewise, the air has and exerts pressure. The reason why we have air pressure is that air is made of tiny particles of matter. The movement of these particles in the air causes air pressure. There are about 400 miles of air pushing down on us. The atmosphere exerts about 14.7 pounds of pressure on each square inch of our bodies.

We can conduct experiments to prove that air has pressure  ex: Water Glass Trick
