air is called transparent because the elements of the air are not visible to our naked eyes as they are really very very minute particles and also they are very less in number because of which air is know as fluid and the the particles move freely in it so they absorb light and does not reflect light because of which the reflected light does not enter our eyes thus we are not able to see air and therefore it is transparent
