Aircraft cabins are pressurised.Air is gradually pumped into the aircraft as it climbs and then let out again when it lands.Why?

Answer: Air pressure in the higher altitudes is very low which means that the presence of gases will also be be low but we humans need oxygen to breathe so when an Aircraft enters higher altitude air is pumped into the aircraft so as to keep the air pressure inside the aircraft low. Another reason is inside our body an opposite pressure is created called Blood pressure in order to counteract the atmospheric pressure acting on us and if the aircraft will not be pressurized our blood vessels will rupture killing us.
