Their sum is given as 25 years so we get the equation ,

》2x = 25 - 5

》2x = 20

So the age of Ajay is 10 years

Age of Ajay will be (X+5) years.

According to question,

X+X+5 = 25

2X + 5 = 25

2X = 25-5

2X=20

X = 20/2

X = 10 years.
