Ajay, vijay and sanjay are employed to do a piece of work for rs.529. Ajay and vijay together are supposed to do 19/23 of the work and vijay and sanjay together 8/23 of the work. How much should ajay be paid?\

Suppose A is Ajay

V is Vijay

S is Sanjay

Given that,  

V + S = \frac{8}{23}

It means V & S together do 8 part of the work

Ajay's share of work = 23 - 8= 15

and also given that,  

A + V = \frac{19}{23}

It means A & V together do 19 part of the work

Sanjay's share of work = 23 - 19 = 4

Ajay's payment  = \frac{15}{23}*529

                           =  15*23

Ajay's payment  = $345

That's the final answer.
