Question :-

Akshat buys a tricycle for Rs.1960 and overhead expenses on it are Rs.40. If he sells the tricycle for Rs.1500, determine his loss percent.

Solution :-

C.P = 1960 + 40 = 2000

S . P = 1500

Loss = 500

Loss of Percentage = 100/CP

= 500 * 100/200 = 2.5 Ans
