20 chair cost = 3200
Spent on Transportation= 400
Total c.p. of 20 chairs = 3200+400 = 3600
He sell 15 chairs for 220rs.
Total s.p. for 15 chairs. =. 220×15 = 3300
He wants a profit of 25% on his total outlay
Then
25% of c.p. + c.p. = s.p. for 25 % of profit
25/100×3600+3600= 4500
He has sold 15 chairs for = 3300
For 25% profit he has to sell remaining 5 chairs for = 4500-3300= 1200
S.p. of 1 chair = 1200/5= 240 rs.
I hope it's understandable 4 uh
