CP of both dogs = 3000+3000= 6000 rupees

SP = 2700 + x

Profit = 20 percent = 20/100 *  6000 = 1200 rupees

So, SP = 6000 + 1200 = 7200 rupees

So, x = 7200 - 2700 = 4500

Answer : The other dog should be old for Rs. 4500

Hope it helps!
