Akshil drive his car with speed of 20 km / h while going to his college, When he returned to his home along the same route, the speed of the car is 30 km /h . Calculate the average speed of the car during the entire trip?

Distance while going and coming=x

Time to reach= X/20

time to return =X/30

Average speed=Total distance / Total Time

=(X+X)/(X/20+X/30)

=2X/(50X/600)

=2x/(5x/60)

On solving we get 24 km/h

So average speed = 24km/h... Don't do average of two speeds answer won't be correct. Thank you
