alchol are weaker acid than water.why

This is because when alcohol is added in water it does not completely ionize. It has hydrogen ions but it is just partially ionized and thus considered a weak acid.

water is more acidic than alcohols .Water is a better acid than alcohol because of the electron donating nature of the alkyl group attached to the oxygen which destabilizes the hydroxide ion and makes it tougher for the oxygen to donate the proton
