if x+1/x = √5, then find the values of x²+ and x⁴+1/x⁴​

Answer:

X+1/x = √5

Then square it on both sides..i.e

X²+1/x²+2= 5….which makes it equal to 3..i.e(5–2)

Now x⁴+1/x⁴ can be derived from above thing..

Which is also squared i.e. x4+1/x4+ 2 = 9..which is 7 is answer
