No, Not all constants are dimensionless or unitless.

We have to verify the given statement is true or false.

" All constant are dimensionless or unitless."

First, We should understand dimension and unit.

  • Dimension : The dimension of a physical quantity is defined as the power raised to fundamental quantities to express the physical quantity. for example, dimension of velocity is [LT⁻¹].
  • Unit : It is the quantity of a constant magnitude used to measure the other quantities of an identical type. for example, unit of velocity is m/s.

Here statement is ; all constants are dimensionless or unitless.

This is wrong statement.

Explanation : There are many constants which have dimensions and units. like, Plank's constant, Stefan-boltzmann's constant, universal gas constant, Gravitational constant, Coulomb's constant etc.. These all constants have dimensions and units. hence the above statement is false.

NO, Not all constants are dimensionless or unitless.
