Question

all faces of a cube with an eight-meter edge are painted red. if the cube is cut into smaller cubes with a two-meter edge how many of the two-meter cubes have paint on exactly one face?

if the 8 meter edge cube will be cut into 2 meter edge smaller cubes then there will be total 64 such cubes

and only 4 cubes on each face will be having one painted face and there are 6 such faces so 4 x 6 = 24 such cubes will have only one painted face

=6*8*8
=64*6=384

ar of cube=6a^2
=6*2*2
=24
=> 384/24=16
