All "Homo Sapiens" have originated from a common ancestor and yet they show tremendous variation in size, colour and appearance. Explain in detail.

Homo sapiens have arisen from a common ancestor but they are widespread geographically. They have evolved as different races at varied places exposed to different climatic conditions and environment making them highly variable. But still they are not reproductively isolated .

"Homo Sapiens" it is the term use to define the Humans in a scientific language.
Who are we ? From where we came ?
Such questions are still a matter of debate, but as far as we know that the modern Humans are originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago from "Homo erectus".
Since the evaluation of Homo Sapiens, they widespread geograhpically in different parts of the world. They keep on travelling and searching for a better place to live.
They all were searching for better climate conditions and better environment to reside and that made them to travel from one contient to other.
◼Now, come to your question.
Why there is variation in Sizes, Colour and Appearance ?
As we know that, all the changes which take place in a human body is based on DNA.
DNA is Dioxy Ribo-Nuclis Acid, which contains Genes.
Everyone has different DNA which they get from their Parents. The DNA of two persons can't be same even if they are brothers or Sisters.
➡ The heights or Sizes are influenced by the one's genetic formations.
Each and every person has different genetic formations.
About 80% of variations in human depends upon their genetic formations and rest 20% depends upon their Diet and upbringing environment.
➡The colour and Appearance of one depends upon the environment in which he or she resides. The colour of skin is affected by the temperature and many other factors of the environment in which one resides.
e.g. People of Jammu and Kashmir are more likely to be fairer in colour and Appearance from the people of South India like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka or kerala etc.
Because there is a huge difference between environment of both the place.
