In most organisms of human beings the proto oncogene is found in inactive form.

Explanation:

  • Inactive form of the gene is known as the proto oncogene. this is converted to the oncogene after a stimulus which had been given to the gene for sustained time result in mutation of the proto oncogene to form the oncogene.
  • This oncogene stimulates the cells to grow abnormally. Also the the inhibitors of the growth of the inhibitors of the cell division is restricted by this change.
