1. DESCRIPTIVE ADJECTIVES tell us about the kind or quality of a noun (or pronoun), e.g.
good girl, hard work, long stick, new house, strong wind, rich man, big tree, red apple.
2. DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES point out nouns (and they are always followed by the nouns which they point out.) e.g.this car, that road, these men, those children, such things.
3. INTERROGATIVE ADJECTIVES ask questions. They are always followed by a noun, e.g.which book...?
what answer...?
whose pen...?
4.POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES show possession. They are always followed by a noun, e.g.my friend, her mother, your brother, their things, his shoes, our friends, its tail.
5. ADJECTIVES OF NUMBER/QUANTITY tell how many or how much. They are followed by a noun, e.g.one man, twenty marbles, six balls, some sugar, many people, several pins, few books, much work, littlepain, more water, each person, every day.
