All kings queens and aces are removed from a pack of 52 cards.the remaining cards are well shuffled and then a card is drawn from it . find the probability that drawn card is

- a black face card
-a red card

Here's your answer...

Since all kings,queens and aces
are removed...there are just 40
cards left..

Now..P(E) of a black face card=2/40
because only two jacks of spades
and clubs remain.

Also P(E) of a red card =20/40
because there are only 20 red cards
