Cells are the one which not only make up living things they themselves are living.
They appear as non living . Cells are found in all living things like bacteria plants etc
Cells show living characteristics in the presence of nutrient medium
They do coordinated work to make us alive. Example mitochondria work up to produce ATP. They show motility in cytoplasmic region.
So I conclude cells are composed of living as there are organelles which have DNA.
