All ores are minerals but all minerals are not ores. Justify the statement. ... So, bauxite is an ore of aluminum. On the other hand, it is not extracted from clay so clay remains only as mineral not ore of aluminum.

All ores are  minerals but all minerals are not ores.
Minerals are those substances that occur naturally in the earth's crust.Those minerals  which has high percentage of a particular metal  and from which metal can be extracted  profitably are called as ores.Hence all ores are called minerals .But metals cannot be extracted from all minerals profitably.Only some minerals have high concentration of metals.Therefore,all minerals are not called as ores.
