All ores are minerals but all minerals are not ores.
Minerals are those substances that occur naturally in the earth's crust. Those minerals which has high percentage of a particular metal and from which metal can be extracted profitably are called as ores.Hence all ores are called minerals .But metals cannot be extracted from all minerals profitably.Only some minerals have high concentration of metals. Therefore, all minerals are not called as ores.
