ALL PLANTS RESPIRE, EXCRETE, AND REPRODUCE , BUT THE DO NOT DIGEST FOOD .WHY CAN'T PLANTS DIGEST FOOD?

As they donot have proper digestive system in the stem. Instead they observe the water and the glucose from the food.
