It's true that the flesh of carnivores are dependent on plants because plants make their food by the process of photosynthesis and they are living because of this process.the are eaten by herbivores animals and carnivores eat these animals for their energy.if there were no plants then there were no herbivore animals and carnivores will not able to get their food.so we can say that though carnivores didn't eat plants for getting energy but they are directly or indirectly dependent on plants.
