☆ The sum, subtraction, division and multiplication of two rational numbers is always rational.

e.g. 2+6= 8
5-3= 2
16/4= 4
8×9= 72

☆ Rational numbers include fractions, whole numbers, natural numbers, decimal numbers and integers as a whole.

e.g. 1/2 ⊂ Q

5 ⊂ Q

0 ⊂ Q

-8 ⊂ Q

3.145 ⊂ Q

*⊂ represents subset of.

**Q is the symbol for rational numbers.

Hope it helps! :)
