All the three face cards of spades are removed from a pack of 52 cards. A card is drawn at random from the remaining cards find the probability of getting (a) a black face card (b) neither a king nor a red card (c) either black or queen ​

Answer:

(a) now there will be only 3 face cards of clubs, n total cards will be 49

So probability will be 3/49

(b) no. Of kings are 3 , and red cards are 26 , 2 red kings are repeated so

27 cards are there which we dont need.. means 22 favourable cards n total cards 49

= 22/49

(C) probability of getting black card is 23/49

N queen is 3/49

So ans= 26/49
