Generally, yes, but there's probably obscure exceptions I'm not aware of. If a single celled organism is in favorable conditions, the organism has genes that are well suited for the environment and given the option between asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction, the organism would be unlikely to risk recombining its favorable genes with potentially unfavorable genes from other organisms. Thus, the organism would prefer to divide mitotically.
