Given mass m = 200 kg time= 2 seconds
Initial velocity u = 10 m/s Final velocity v =20m/s
Momentum = mass x velocity
a) Initial momentum = mass x initial velocity = m x u = 200 × 10
= 2000 Kgm/s
b)Final momentum = mass x final velocity = m x v = 200 × 20
= 4000 Kg m/s
c) Force = change in momentum / time taken
=(4000-2000)/2 = 1000 N
d ) two factors on which change of momentum depends are mass and velocity
