Alloys are mixtures but cannot be seperated by physical means is a correct statement because alloys are not pure substance to come under the tag of compound as it is not in equal proportion and as it shows the property of the substance it was made from , Example:- Brass is a composition of 70% copper and 30% zinc so it does not has equal proportion and shows the property of copper and zinc.
