hello friend
As the plants take CO2 and give or release O2 .... If O2 release then any reaction or process is take place absolutely....
We all know that plants make their by CO2 and H2O in the presence of sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen.......
6CO2 + 6H2O ---------> C6H12O6 + 6O2
HOPE IT HELPS YOU

As we all know that we intake O₂ and release CO₂.
We obtain O₂ from green plants(plants who have chlorophyll in them) and give them CO₂ in exchange.
Sunlight, Water, CO₂ & chlorophyll works as the raw materials in this process.
Chlorophyll present in the green plants trap the sunlight inside it.
During the process 90% of energy get lost in the environment which leaves it with only 10% of the energy.
Xylem and phylum present in the plants transport water and other nutrients from the roots to other parts of the plant.
Stomata on the leaves absorbs CO₂ from the air.
After all the raw materials are ready the process of photosynthesis takes place.
Again, stomata gets active and releases oxygen in the atmosphere
