Hi there!

In biology, A Key is Taxonomical aid that helps in the Identification of Plants n' Animal species.

These are based on their Similarities n' Dissimilarities, generally in a pair called Couplet.

Each statement in a Taxonomic key is referred to as Lead. For categorising each rank such as Family, Genus, Species etc.

It's also useful for idenfication of Unknown Organisms... O_O

These keys are of two types :

♦ Intended key - provides a sequence of choices between two or more statements.
♦ Bracketed key - a pair of contrasting characters are used for the same...
