One day he saw sages passing through his house who were beggars who asked for food and clothing . His mother offered food for them but she denied the next day ,but narendranath was very upset about this,so he took a pair of six clothes and some food he ran to the sages and offered them with clothes and food the sages thanked the boy and blessed him. that day naren was very happy,he continued this every day he donated to the poor families, beggars,sages and others who were in need. Soon every one in the town spoke about him, this news reached to naren's father he was very angry with naren and scolded him and locked him inside a room for his mischief. Naren was very sad and sat on a chair with his arm on the table , then here came noises of the sages from his window . he did not understand how to give them clothes ,after thinking for sometime he got an idea then he went to his clothes shelf and took some clothes and called sages from his window and gave clothes from his window ,his father by seeing the incident was surprised and asked naren why was he so eager to donate then naren said father" when we eat we fill our stomachs but when we donate others we fill our hearts " that is the reason i donate he said ,his father took him near and kissed him on his forehead .
MORAL: if you fill your tummy you fill ur stomachs but when u fill for others you fill your heart.
