Solution :-

It is clear from the question that Gamma is the youngest of the three siblings.

Let the Gamma be x years old

Beta is twice as old as Gamma. So, Beta's age will be 2x years

Alpha is 2 years older than Beta. So, Alpha's age will be (2x + 2) years

Sum of their ages = 27 years (given)

According to the question.

x + 2x + 2x + 2 = 27

⇒ 5x + 2 = 27

⇒ 5x = 27 - 2

⇒ 5x = 25

⇒ x = 25/5

⇒ x = 5

So, Gamma's age is 5 years, Beta's age is 10 years and Alpha's age is 12 years
