Alpha hydrogen in aldehydes is moreacidic because of 2 reasons: 1-Strong electron withdrawing effect ofcarbonyl group, which makes release of alpha hydrogen easier. In aldehydes other than an alkyl group there is ahydrogen atom bonded to carbonylcarbon.
