If particles are moving with the same velocity, then what is maximum de Broglie wavelength for?
Formula for de Broglie wavelength is, λ=hp
where h=Planck’s constant and p=mv which is linear momentum
Therefore
λ=hmv
If v is constant then, λα1m
Thus wavelength will be inversly proportional to mass.
So the particle having higher mass will have lower wavelength and vice-versa.
So alpha particle has the highest momentum.
I hope it will help you...
