In the graph posted by you
You add the speed at the intervals and you will get the answer 430 like20+20+....
And now divide it by time that is 10
U will get 43 as answer
and also you can see that 43 speed is between the time interval 4-6 hence the answer

i add all interval 20+ 20+ 40+ 60+ 60+60+70+ 50+ 40+20 i get 440.. but ur ans is correct
2question ..my solution is 0- 2hrs 40km, 2-4 hrs - 100km, 4-6hrs slot - 120km, 6 to 8 hrs slot 120km.. but ur ans is correct.please correct steps...

U didn't analyzed the graph correctly u see it is 20+20+60+60+70+60+50+40+30+20=430
Here on dividing by 10 u get 43
As for ur 2q check the highest peaks(intervals)
