Although both CO2 and H2O are tri-atomic molecules, the shape of H2O

molecule is bent while that of CO2 is linear. Explain this on the basis of dipole

moment.​

CO2 has dipole movement

u=0

And water has dipole u..not equal to zero

So water shows dipole moment although it has hydrogen bonding bcz of which it has bent shape.....
