Cricket was a British sports, first started in England. Gradually as it travelled to the colonies, the subjects learnt to use it as a tool to assert their self worth, strength of character and to fight for their rights against the colonisers in a non -violent manner. Cricket , like any other cultural phenomenon, has been moulded by the economic and social history of the time and place where it originated. Cricket's connection with the rural past is evident in the length of a Test match.

Cricket was first originated from England. Cricket is now a world wide game played everywhere. Now other countries have a good sense in cricket and are doing good, but still, cricket is originally from England. England is still one of the best teams in the world for cricket.
