Aluminium is above iron in the reactivity series however its reactions with oxygen and water seems to indicates that it is less reactive than iron explain​

Answer:

It appears so, because Aluminum reacts with the oxygen in the air to form Aluminium Oxide, which further acts as a protective layer over the pure Aluminium. While in the case of Iron, the rust easily gets removed in the form of chips and powder, leaving the pure iron surface exposed to air for further corrosion
