these alveolar cells secrete milk and collected it into lumen.
alveoli are connected to the lactiferous sinuses through lactocytes which helps in taking out milk collected in ampulla

Lactocytes secrete milk into the alveoli which is then squeezed into the ducts. The alveoli which drain to the common duct are known as lobules. Lactiferous ducts drain the milk into lactiferous sinuses which assemble at the nipple pores.
