Aman will have Rupees 8000.

Given:

Aman gave 40% to Rohan

Rohan gave  \frac{1}{4}^{t h} of received amount to Sahil

Rohan paid Rupees 200 to the taxi driver

Sahil has Rupees 600 left with him.

To find:

Aman will have = ?

Solution:

Let us assume Aman has ‘M’ amount of money with him

Amount of money Aman gave to Rohan=\frac{40}{100} M=0.4 M

Amount of money given by Rohan to Sahil =\frac{1}{4} \times(0.4 M)=0.1 M

Amount paid to taxi driver = 200

Amount left with Sahil after paying for taxi = 600

\begin{array}{l}{0.1 M-200=600} \\ {0.1 M=600+200} \\ {0.1 M=800} \\ {M=\frac{800}{0.1}=8000}\end{array}

So, the original amount Aman had was 8000 rupees.
