Aman went to garden with his father. There he started pulling the plants down and was surprised to see that plant bent easily. His father stopped him he could see that Aman was very curious to know why the plant did not break.
a) Was the father right in stopping him from breaking the branch? Why?
b) How did the father explain the easy bending of plants
c) Which values you learn from the above situation

a] yes the father was right in stopping him from breaking the branch because even plants have life
b]plants have weak stem and can be easily bended
c]first that we should not break plants and secondly that plants have bendable stems

The plant bends towards the light due to phototropism . In this case the auxins present in plant want to hide away from the sunlight. Thus they choose the place where the sunlight isn’t reAching them . Due to this there is bending of the plant
