Let radius of the circle = r cm

Circumference ( C ) = 3 cm

2 × π r = 3

r = 3/2π

Therefore ,

Area of the circle = π r²

= π × ( 3/2π )²

= ( π × 3 × 3 ) / ( 2 × 2 × π × π )

= 9 / 4π square cm
