Amana's age 3x -10

Let Amana's son's age be x.
So, Amana age = 3x
before 10 years,
His son's age will be x-10
Amana's age will be 3x-10
ATQ,
3x-10 = 5(x-10)
3x-10 = 5x-50
3x-5x = -50+10
-2x = -40
x = -40/-2
= 20
Hence,
his son's present age is 20 years.
Amana's present age is 60 years.
