Amana age is 3 times his son's age 10 years ago he was five times his son's age find their present ages

Given:-

Let the age of son be x

we know that amana age is 3 times than his father, so

Let the age of Amana be 3x

To Find:-

Present Ages.

Solution:-

we know that 10 years ago there ages are :-

Son's age x-10

Amana's age 3x -10

Putting all the values

, we get

5(x-10) = 3x -10

5x -50 = 3x - 10

2x = 40

x =20

3x= 3X20 = 60

Son present age = 20 years.

Amana present age = 60 years.

Let Amana's son's age be x.

So, Amana age = 3x

before 10 years,

His son's age will be x-10

Amana's age will be 3x-10

ATQ,

3x-10 = 5(x-10)

3x-10 = 5x-50

3x-5x = -50+10

-2x = -40

x = -40/-2

= 20

Hence,

his son's present age is 20 years.

Amana's present age is 60 years.
