amar,bharat and charu can complete job in 12,24 and 24 days respectively.if they work together ,how long days they will complete the job?

B’s 1 day’s work = \frac{1}{6}

C’s 1 day’s work = \frac{1}{12}

(A+B+C)’s 1 day’s work = \frac{1}{24}+\frac{1}{6}+\frac{1}{12}=\frac{1+4+2}{24}=\frac{7}{24}

∴ The work will be completed by them in \frac{24}{7} i.e. 3\frac{3}{7} days.

Amar can complete a piece of work in 12days

∴ work done by Amar in 1 day = \frac{1}{12}

same as work done by Bharat in 1 day = \frac{1}{24}

work done by Charu in 1 day = \frac{1}{24}

∴Now calculate total work done by  Amar, Bharat, and Charu in 1 day together= \frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{24} + \frac{1}{24} = 2 +1+1 / 24 =\frac{4}{24} =\frac{1}{6}

Now \frac{1}{6} piece of workdone together in  1day.

∴ 1 piece of work done = \frac{6}{1}= 6 days.

Ans:- Amar, Bhrat and Charu can complete a piece of work together in 6 days.
