Let the quantity be x
So cost of tea is 9x and the cost of 2nd tea is 7x
All together the cost or CP= 9x+ 7x = 16x
Selling price or SP is 8x
Here CP>SP
So Loss = CP - SP= 16x - 8x = 8x
Loss% = 8x/16x X 100
= 50%
Thus loss% is 50%.
