Answer:

33. 41 %

Step-by-step explanation:

C.p of 1 banana = 16/12

T. C.p = 3600 × 16/12 = 4800

s.p of 1850 bananas

= 1850 × 4/2 = 3700

remaining = 3600 - 1850 = 1750

s.p of remaining bananas

= 1750 × 8/5 = 2800

total s.p = 6500

profit% = (6500- 4800)/4800 * 100

= 35.41 %

Answer:

no of banana= 3600

cost of 1 dozen banana= 16 rs

i.e cost of 12 banana= 16 rs

cost of 1 banana=16/12 rs

total cost= 16/12 ×3600= 4800 rs

now ,he sold banana

in first case ,

no of banana=1850

selling price of 2 banana=4 rs

selling price of 1 banana= 4/2=2 rs

total selling price of 1850 banana=2×1850=3700 rs

in 2nd case,

no of banana left=3600-1850=1750

selling price of 8 banana= 5 rs

selling price of 1 banana= 5/8 rs

selling price of 1750 banana = 5/8×1750=1093.75 rs

in both cases , total selling price=

3700+1093.75=4793.75 rs

total cost price=4800 rs

as SP <CP ,there is net loss

loss = CP - SP = 4800-4793.75= 6.25 rs

loss %= loss(100)/CP

loss% = 6.25(100)/4800=0.13%
