Cost Price of Bananas →

1 dozen → 12 bananas

3600 bananas → 3600

                               12

                  → 300 dozens

Rate of Bananas → ₹16 per dozen

Cost of Bananas → ₹ 16 X 300

                            → ₹ 4800

Cost Price ( C.P. ) of Bananas

→ ₹ 4800

Selling Price of Bananas →

First,

Bananas Sold → 1850

Rate of Bananas → ₹ 4 for 2

                             → ₹ 4

                                    2

Selling Price of Bananas

→ 1850 X ₹ 4

                   2

   → ₹ 3700

Second,

Bananas sold → 3600 - 1850

                       → 1750

Rate of Bananas → ₹ 8 for 5

                              → ₹ 8

                                     5

Selling Price of Bananas

→ 1750 X ₹ 8

                  5

→ ₹ 2800

Selling Price ( S.P. ) of Bananas

→ ₹ 3700 + ₹ 2800

→ ₹ 6500

Cost Price ( C.P. ) < Selling Price ( S.P. )

→ Profit

Profit → S.P. - C.P.

→ ₹ 6500 - ₹ 4800

→ ₹ 1700

Profit Percentage

→ ( Profit X 100 ) %

  (   C.P.               )

1700 X 100

   4800

1700 %

     48

425 %

     12

Profit Percentage

425 %

     12
