Amit buys a book for ₹275/- and sells it at a loss of 20%. How much is the loss?​

loss\% =  \frac{loss}{cost \: price}  \times 100 \\  \\ loss =  \frac{20 \times 275}{100}  =  \frac{275}{5}  = 55

So, loss = ₹55
