Among 520 members in a village 360 members were engaged in cattle rearing and 280 members with poultry farming and 180 were doing both how many people are not involved in either of work

since 180 is common between cattle rearing and poultry farming, we subtract it from each:
360-180= 180
and 280-180= 100
Now this means, 180 people are only cattle rearing, 100 people are only poultry farming and another 180 people are doing both.
Hence we subtract the sum of this from the total number of people
therefore, 520-(180+100+180)= 60
Therefore, 60 people are not involved in any work.
